Pedestrian dies after being struck by bus in Glasgow

Police were called to the scene on Saturday morning
A pedestrian has died after he was hit by a bus in the west end of Glasgow.
The 65-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision on Great Western Road, near the junction with Horselethill Road.
Officers were alerted at around 07:30 on Saturday. The man's next of kin have been informed.
Investigation work is taking place and the road between Byres Rd and Clevedon Road is expected to remain closed until early afternoon.
Road Policing Sergeant Nick Twigg said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died. Our officers will continue to support them as enquiries progress.
"We've already spoken to a number of witnesses but I'd appeal to anyone who saw what happened, and hasn't already been in contact with police, to please get in touch.
"Likewise, if you have any footage of the area at the time, perhaps dashcam or private CCTV, please review this and bring anything of significance to our attention."
