Girl, 14, raped in park near Paisley town centre

The rape happened in Fountain Gardens on Monday
A 14-year-old girl has been raped in a park near Paisley town centre.
Police were alerted to the serious sexual assault which took place within Fountain Gardens, near Gilmour Street station, between 17:30 and 19:00 on Monday.
The area was cordoned off while officers carried out inquiries.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Inquiries are at an early stage to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
