East Belfast crash: Two police officers and a car driver in hospital

Extensive damage was caused to both vehicles in the crash in east Belfast
Two police officers and the driver of another car have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in east Belfast.
It happened on the Albertbridge Road shortly after 05:30 GMT on Friday.
The police patrol vehicle was responding to an emergency report towards Belfast city centre.
The police officers' injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the other car, a man in his 50s, sustained serious leg injuries.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the incident and "initial first aid was provided at the scene", the police said.
"I wish both our police officers and member of the public a speedy and full recovery from their injuries," Insp Hakin said.
Extensive damage has been caused to both vehicles.
The Albertbridge Road has been re-opened at its junctions with Vicarage Street and Templemore Street.
An investigation is under way.
