The owner of a hotel where three teenagers died following a St Patrick's Day crush has been released by police.

Michael McElhatton was arrested by detectives investigating the deaths at the Greenvale Hotel in Cookstown.

The 52-year-old has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

Detectives were granted a 36-hour extension by the courts to question him on Wednesday.

Lauren Bullock, 17, Morgan Barnard, 17, and Connor Currie, 16, died in a crush outside the hotel.
