Watchdog call for Westminster double jobs ban

The Committee on Standards in Public Life has called on the government to introduce legislation to ban "double jobbing" by politicians.
It wants to put an end to people who serve as both MPs and MLAs at the same time.
The London based watchdog said the practice should end by the time of the next Stormont election in May 2015.
In its annual report, the committee noted that nine out the 18 Northern Ireland MPs still hold dual mandates.
