Former North Yorkshire Police officer denies sex assault charge

A former North Yorkshire Police officer has appeared in court charged with sexual assault.
Lee Meadows pleaded not guilty to the alleged offence at Bradford Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The 44-year-old, who lives in Doncaster, was employed as a police constable when the assault allegedly took place on 25 September 2020.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear at Bradford Crown Court on 5 February.
Mr Meadows has retired from the force since the alleged incident.
