Motorcyclist dies after A371 Cheddar Road crash

A motorcyclist has died following a single-vehicle crash.
Avon and Somerset Police were called to the A371 Cheddar Road in Axbridge, Somerset, at around 13:40 BST. The male motorcyclist died at the scene.
Police said his next of kin had been informed and were being supported by a specially trained family liaison officer.
The road was shut between Cheddar and the A38 junction at Cross but reopened at around 19:35.
Officers are urging anyone with dashcam footage or anyone who witnessed what happened to get in touch.
