A photograph capturing a white-legged damselfly's face has been crowned overall winner in a wildlife charity's photography competition.
Harry Berks, 24, from Banbury, took the winning shot at Lamb's Pool nature reserve in Oxfordshire.
The Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust challenged nature lovers of all ages to take pictures at one its 86 reserves or in their community.
Images were selected in 12 categories, including birds, reptiles and fungi.
Jessica Crumpton won the reptiles, amphibians and fish category with this picture of a bathing frog at Letcombe Valley nature reserve, near Wantage
Paul Olive scooped the flora category with this detailed shot showing the deadly tentacles of a carnivorous plant near Boxford in Berkshire
The winner of this year's children's category was nine-year-old Fern from Oxfordshire, with a pin-sharp picture of a yellow-and-black hoverfly drinking nectar from a pink scabious flower
Winner in the nature reserves category was Gill Cornelius with her photo of Grangelands and The Rifle Range at Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire
A dramatic shot of a heron silhouetted on water saw Danny Kidby-Hunter win the Urban category
Andrew Kelsick's photograph of a bank vole at Warburg nature reserve, Henley-on-Thames, scooped the mammals category
This year鈥檚 contest saw 454 photographs submitted. - all category winners will have their photo included in the trust's 2024 calendar
