Glenfield: Motorcyclist taken to hospital after serious crash

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a motorbike and a car.
Leicestershire Police was called to Gynsill Lane, near Glenfield, shortly before 15:30 BST on Saturday after a report a blue Kawasaki ZX600 motorbike and a black Volkswagen Tiguan had crashed.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital.
The force says officers remain at the scene and a road closure is in place.
It has been shut between the junctions with A46 Leicester Western Bypass and the A50.
Detectives from the force's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out inquiries and appealing for witnesses to get in touch.
