Cyclist seriously injured in assault in Rochester

A cyclist suffered serious head injuries in what police described as an "altercation" with a motorcyclist in Kent.
The assault happened on Rochester High Street just after 10:00 BST on Sunday.
The male cyclist, who police said was in his sixties, was taken by air ambulance to a London hospital.
Kent Police described the suspect as a stocky white man who was wearing union jack pattern shorts. A blonde-haired woman was riding pillion.
The woman was wearing a light grey jacket, white jeans and black boots.
Kent Police is appealing for information.
