Kent charity's plea for help over rough sleepers
- Published
Residents are being asked by a Kent homeless charity to keep an eye out for rough sleepers in the county.
Porchlight wants members of the public to let it know where people have been bedding down so they can help them.
Gill Bryant said: "Often members of the public such as those out jogging or people in certain jobs will find themselves out at unusual hours and often in secluded locations.
"This means they are likely to spot people who are sleeping rough."
She urged anyone who saw someone they thought needed help to call their 24-hour helpline.
