- Published
A van was involved in a crash with a car before it then struck a man in Derbyshire, police have said.
Derbyshire Police officers were called after a report of an assault in Godfrey Drive, Kirk Hallam, just before 18:55 BST on Monday.
The van had collided with a black Vauxhall Astra, before going on to a grass verge and hitting the man, the force added.
It is being treated as an "isolated incident".
The force added there was no wider threat to the community and issued an appeal for information.
