US police remove 'inappropriate' Beyonce twins tweet
- Published
A US police department's taken down an "inappropriate" tweet reacting to the news Beyonce's expecting twins.
Officers in Atlanta posted that Beyonce "may have everyone wanting to celebrate" but warning people not to use "celebratory gunfire".
Some accused the department of making fun of racial stereotypes and gun violence. Others thought it was just plain weird.
The tweet was deleted soon after, with an apology calling it "inappropriate".
Beyonce made the announced on Instagram on Wednesday with that pretty elaborate picture.
She said she and husband Jay Z couple are "incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two".
And obviously, the reaction's been huge.
Rumours about a possible pregnancy started earlier this week, when fans thought they noticed a bump in a campaign video for her fashion line.
