Some fans are complaining after Radio 1 Big Weekend cut short the Twenty One Pilots set over a "risk" to the band's safety.

In an official statement released on Twitter, 91热爆 Radio 1 said it was "sad" the set was stopped, but that safety is always the "first priority".

Tyler Joseph - one half of Twenty One Pilots - is known for climbing around the stage when he performs.

This is what prompted the set to be cut short, Big Weekend officials confirmed.

Fans on social media said they were disappointed the pair hadn't had the chance to complete their performance.

But not everyone felt the same.
