Kasabian added to Radio 1's Hackney Weekend this summer

Kasabian have been added to the line-up for Radio 1's Hackney Weekend.
The Leicester band will play before headliner Jay-Z on Saturday 23 June.
The bill also includes artists like will.i.am, Florence And The Machine, Jack White, Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Leona Lewis and Lana Del Rey.
Guitarist Serge Pizzorno announced the news on the Chris Moyles Show. He said: "It's massive. I'm really intrigued to see Jay-Z because he brings out a massive show."
Kasabian have just returned to the UK after a seven-week tour of the US.
As well as Radio 1's Hackney Weekend, the band will be appearing at Reading, Leeds and T in the Park this summer as well as gigs at Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks.
'Beautiful'
Serge hopes the band will then head out on tour in Europe and the US again once they finish their UK festival dates.
He said: "We'll sign off the fourth record with a headline appearance at Reading and Leeds.
"Eight years ago we were in a tent and first on. Now after all these years of working, it's a beautiful way to finish."
Tickets to Radio 1's Hackney Weekend are free but registration is now closed.
The majority are being allocated to people living in Hackney and the surrounding boroughs in London.
Other acts performing include Swedish House Mafia, Emeli Sande, Calvin Harris, Nero, David Guetta, Deadmau5, The Maccabees, The Ting Tings, Dappy, Chase & Status, Professor Green, Michael Kiwanuka, Labrinth, Tinie Tempah and Plan B.
Sean Paul, Tinchy Stryder, Flo Rida, Devlin and Azealia Banks will perform on a separate 91热爆 1Xtra stage.
One hundred thousand tickets are available across the weekend, which is part of the .
It will feature more than 100 UK and international artists performing on six 91热爆 stages including the Radio 1 main stage, Radio 1Xtra stage, dance stage, In New Music We Trust stage and the 91热爆 Introducing stage.
91热爆 Three will also screen the event.
