Taio Cruz writing songs for next Rihanna album

R&B singer Taio Cruz, who made it to number one in America with Break Your Heart, says he's written material for Rihanna's next album.
The star flew in to perform Dirty Picture with Ke$ha at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Bangor and said he hoped the songs were good enough.
"I just wrote a couple of songs for Rihanna recently," he said.
"Whether it goes on her album or not, who knows? I've submitted the songs and hopefully they get on the album."
The singer shot to fame in America after achieving modest success with his first two albums in the UK.
He's also produced hits for the likes of Cheryl Cole, JLS and Tinchy Stryder but says writing for Rihanna came naturally to him.
"It was pretty easy," he said. "I tried to encapsulate how confident she is and how beautiful she is, how sexy she is and how much of a superstar she is and just put that into a record.
"I think hopefully I've done that."
With a new track (Dynamite) out, album released on 1 June in America and a single also at number one in the US radio airplay chart, the 27-year-old Londoner is in demand on both sides of the Atlantic.
"I've done one major TV show [in the US]," he revealed. "I did the Jay Leno Show recently, which was quite a big one.
"We've got a few more planned to come. I'm doing Ellen [DeGeneres], which is going to be amazing. I've always thought she was so funny and so amazing.
"I think we're doing Regis and Kelly and Jimmy Kimmel, and a few others. I'm slowly but surely getting more recognised in America. I'm quietly excited, internally."
Taio Cruz also revealed he'd love to work with Justin Bieber and B.o.B but said he was a busy man.
"I just came back from Chicago to do this (Radio 1's Big Weekend) and then I'm off to Japan. I'm straight out."
