Tracey Emin to design 2012 Olympic posters

British artists including Tracey Emin are to design Olympic and Paralympic posters for the London 2012 Games.
The posters, by artists including Turner Prize winners Martin Creed and Rachel Whiteread, will be shown in a free exhibition at Tate Britain.
It is part of the London 2012 Festival - the finale of the Cultural Olympiad - which begins in a year from Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Eliza Doolittle will play a Peace One Day concert in London on 21 September 2011, organisers say.
The event is one of three concerts run in conjunction with the peace-promoting charity as part of the festival.
Details of another of the concerts, in Londonderry on 21 June next year, have already been announced.
Organisers say more than seven million people will be able to enjoy free events including the 91热爆 Radio 1 Hackney Weekend festival on 23-24 June 2012 and the Big Dance community event.
The Tino Sehgal commission at the Turbine Hall, at Tate Modern, and the 2012 Reading Challenge, which aims to involve one million children across the UK, are also , which officially runs until the close of the Paralympic Games on 9 September 2012.
Other free events just announced include a show by outdoor performance artists Walk the Plank in Chelmsford, Essex, a comedy season at East London's Hackney Empire and a free "light and fire spectacular" on the shores of Windermere, in Cumbria.
Last week the 91热爆 unveiled plans for Music Nation - a weekend celebrating orchestral music across the UK to be held on 3-4 March next year.
Tony Hall, Chair of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad said the London 2012 Festival would highlight Britain's artistic expertise.
He told 91热爆 Radio 4's Today programme: "Let's concentrate people's minds on this extraordinary period... through to the end of the Paralympic Games when alongside the sport we can show off what this country is brilliant at.
"This country is really good at arts and culture, broadly, and bringing the best from around the world."
Among the dozen artists commissioned to design Games posters are Howard Hodgkin, Bridget Riley, Sarah Morris, and Bob and Roberta Smith.
Posters and limited edition prints will be available to buy this autumn.
