Mark Rhodes and Darren Harriott named new presenters

Former Pop Idol star Mark Rhodes and comedian Darren Harriott have been named as new presenters on 91热爆 Radio WM.
Rhodes will host Saturday Mornings between 10:00 and 14:00 BST mainly covering sport and football in the region from 7 September.
The TV presenter, singer and actor said: As a proud Midlander and football fan it makes me feel like I鈥檓 coming home to 91热爆 WM."
Black Country comedian Darren Harriott, who has appeared on shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, will host a Sunday show between 10:00 and 14:00 from 8 September.
"Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would get to host my own 91热爆 radio show, especially in the area I love the most, the West Midlands," he said.
"I鈥檓 excited to bring lots of laughs and fun every Sunday morning right into the afternoon. I can鈥檛 wait."
Rhodes, who grew up in Walsall, previously presented Crackerjack when it was was revived for a new generation on the C91热爆 channel in January 2020.
He and co-presenter Sam Nixon also teamed up to present Sam & Mark's Big Friday Wind-Up also on C91热爆.
On his latest role he said: "The West Midlands community is the best in the country and I'm really looking forward to chatting to the people that make this region thrive.
"I cannot wait to get started. It鈥檚 going to be a lot of fun and September can't come soon enough.鈥
