Seven deny criminal damage over bank paint attack

Seven people have denied conspiring to cause criminal damage, after a branch of Barclays bank in Leeds was sprayed with red paint.

The building, in Albion Street, was covered with paint in the early hours of 27 June.

At Leeds Crown Court on Monday, seven people pleaded not guilty.

Judge Tom Bayliss KC set a trial date for 10 March 2025. The trial is expected to last two to three weeks.

The seven defendants are:

  • Francesca Nadin, 38, from Sholebrook Avenue, Potternewton

  • Elliott Wilson, 24, from Wavertree, Liverpool

  • Albert Naumov, 29, of no fixed abode

  • Susan Price, 69, of Girnhill Lane, Pontefract

  • Nagina Naz, 45, of Bartle Close, Bradford

  • Archana Bargota, 44, of Oakwood Grove, Roundhay, Leeds

  • Yursa Ahmed, 19, of St Catherine鈥檚 Walk, Gledhow, Leeds

Ms Price also denies a charge of dangerous driving.
