Cyclist taken to hospital after Switch Island crash

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash with an Audi at Switch Island junction in Liverpool.
The incident, involving a male cyclist, happened on Dunningsbridge Road near to its junction with Broom's Cross Road at about 18:20 BST on Saturday, police said.
Emergency services were on scene at Switch Island and a road closure was put in place at the busy junction.
It caused significant traffic delays in the area, Merseyside Police said.
A spokesperson for the force confirmed they had received reports that a male cyclist had been involved in a collision with a black Audi.
