Man arrested after woman stabbed in Coventry

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a woman was stabbed.

Police received reports of the attack at about 05:00 BST on Thursday on Robin Hood Road, Coventry.

West Midlands Police said the woman was taken to hospital.

Her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening, the force added.
