Mum to support grieving parents after losing son

A woman who lost her son to an aggressive brain tumour wants to support grieving parents who have lost a child to illness.
Lauren Henderson's 10-year-old son Logan died in May.
She is in the process of setting up a charity for families who have found themselves in a similar situation.
Ms Henderson, from Hereford, said: "I want to create a place that parents can go where they can have a rant, they can be angry and there is no judgement, it is all confidential."
She hopes to name the charity the Logansaurus Trust - inspired by her son and his love for all things prehistoric.
Speaking to 91热爆 Hereford & Worcester, she described Logan as "the light of my life".
'Our world fell apart'
Ms Henderson and her husband noticed that their son had started limping and was becoming gradually weaker on his one side.
After numerous trips to A&E, on 14 November 2022 Logan was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma - an aggressive tumour of the brain stem that mostly affects children - at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
"They told us there was nothing they could do and he was going to die," she recalled.
"At that point, my husband and I, our world fell apart."
Throughout her son's illness, Ms Henderson said she and her husband received support from several organisations, including Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorns Children's Hospice.
But it was outside of normal working hours where she said she needed the most support, which she hopes her trust will be able to address.
Ms Henderson explained that she was in the process of looking for help from local businesses with funding and to find a base so parents had a safe space.
