Man charged with rape after teenage boy assaulted

A man has been charged with rape following a serious sexual assault on a teenage boy in Nottingham.
The teenager was walking through the Forest Recreation Ground at about 23:30 BST on 18 July when he was assaulted, Nottinghamshire Police said.
Darweesh Mohammed, of no fixed abode, has been charged with rape following an investigation by officers.
The 24-year-old is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
Det Sgt Alan Braisby said: “The victim and family have been informed of this significant development and we will continue to support them in any way we can."
