An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in Cornwall.
Police said they were called at about 22:25 GMT on Wednesday to Basset Road, Camborne, after reports people were threatened with a knife.
Officers searched the area and discovered a man had been seriously assaulted inside a property on the same road, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
The force said a 31-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and taken to hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or changing, police said.
Police said it was understood the two men were known to each other.
Detectives said they continued to carry out inquiries in the area.
