Children among six in hospital after two-car crash

A two-car crash left six people, including two children, in hospital.
It happened on the A465 in Pontrilas, Herefordshire, at about 15:55 GMT on Saturday, and involved a Mitsubishi ASX 2 and a Peugeot 208.
A man and woman in their 40s in the Peugeot were seriously injured, with children aged eight and 12 from the same car also taken to hospital.
The driver of the Mitsubishi - a man in his 80s - and a passenger in her 70s were also injured, said West Mercia Police, appealing for witnesses.
The crash happened on the southbound carriageway of the A465 near to Llangua Bridge, said the force.
The driver and a passenger from the Peugeot were taken to hospital by air ambulance.
