Driver dies after crashing into tree

A man has died after the car he was driving crashed into a tree in Nottinghamshire.
Officers were called to Barnby Road, in Newark, at about 05:30 BST on Monday.
Nottinghamshire Police said a 23-year-old man was found inside the car and was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The force added it was investigating the circumstances and urged any witnesses to contact police.
