Cars damaged in two County Tyrone petrol bomb attacks

Two cars have been damaged by petrol bombs in two incidents close to Beragh in County Tyrone.

At around 04:05 BST on Friday, police received a report that a black car was substantially damaged after a petrol bomb was placed beside it on the Donaghanie Road in Beragh.

A nearby property was also damaged in the incident.

In a second attack, a petrol bomb was thrown at a black car in nearby Beattie Villas, on the outskirts of Omagh, between 03:30 and 04:30 BST.

Police have said they are investigating a possible link between the two incidents.

Det Sgt Curley appealed for "anyone with any information in relation to both incidents" to contact police.

Antrim attack

Meanwhile, two women and a child were left "badly shaken" in County Antrim after a petrol bomb attack on a house in the early hours of Friday morning.

Police said a petrol bomb was thrown at the house in the Rathkyle area at about 02:30 BST.

The attack caused scorch damage to the front window.

The three people in the house at the time of the attack were not injured.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
