Beach rescue after walkers cut off by the tide
The walkers were left stranded by the tide at Robin Hood's Bay on Tuesday afternoon

More than a dozen walkers and two dogs have been rescued after they were cut off by the tide on the North Yorkshire coast.
HM Coastguard said 15 people were left stranded after they walked around a headland at Robin Hood's Bay, near Whitby, at about 16:00 BST on Tuesday.
Rescue teams from Whitby, Scarborough and Ravenscar attended the scene to move everyone to safety.
All were "made safe and well" just after 18:00, the coastguard added.
In on X, formerly known as Twitter, the agency reminded people to "check tide tables before you set out for your coastal walk".
