Man admits causing death of woman in crash

A man has admitted causing the death of a woman in a crash in Lincolnshire.
The 29-year-old woman died in a collision between a car, in which she was a passenger, and a van on the B1225 at Market Stainton on 4 August 2023.
The driver of the van, Uldis Stepins, 47, from Crowland Avenue, Grimsby, pleaded guilty to a charge of causing death by dangerous driving at Lincoln Crown Court on Thursday.
Three other people were seriously injured and Stepins also admitted three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Stepins was bailed and is due to be sentenced on 31 October.
