A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 45-year-old woman was found dead.

Police launched an investigation after they were called at 00:30 BST on Tuesday to a property in Caerphilly Road, Cardiff.

The suspect, who is 44, was taken to Cardiff Bay police station for questioning.

South Wales Police said: "A crime scene is in place and inquiries continue."
