Man guilty of churchyard rape

A man has been found guilty of raping a woman in a churchyard.

Khaliz Ali Alshimery attacked his victim in the grounds of St Clement's Church, off Marston Road, Oxford, in the early hours of 19 November.

The 46-year-old, of Grenoble Road, Oxford, was also found guilty of assault by penetration and three counts of sexual assault.

He will be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on 21 June.
