Workers at a chocolate factory in Nottinghamshire have ended seven weeks of strike action after accepting a revised pay offer.

Dozens of GMB members at Cargill in Worksop have taken industrial action on 14 days since late November.

However the union said they had voted to accept a 10.4% pay increase and a one-off cost-of-living payment.

GMB organiser Cameron Mitchell said it was good that company bosses had recognised the value of the workforce.

A Cargill spokesperson said: "We are pleased to have reached an agreement with the union. We greatly value our employees and the work they do."
