- Published
A fire in an abandoned building in Bradford is being investigated as arson, police said.
An eight-storey block of flats on Bolton Road caught fire in the evening of Wednesday 2 October.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire could not be determined "due to the extensive damage in the building".
West Yorkshire Police confirmed it suspected the fire was started deliberately.
Fire crews initially responded to the blaze at about 20:30 BST.
Ten fire engines and two aerial appliances were sent to the scene but this was reduced to six engines by about 04:00 BST.
The building was unoccupied and there were no reports of any injuries.
