Two teenage burglary suspects in Nottingham were tracked down by a police dog after crashing a stolen car.
Police were called to Crown Island at about 04:35 GMT on Wednesday after reports a vehicle had collided with traffic barriers.
Two people fled the scene, but were later located by police dog Max and response officers.
They were found attempting to get into a taxi nearby and were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
The two boys, aged 16 and 17, remain in police custody.
Nottinghamshire Police said checks revealed the car was registered to an address in Bingham.
The car keys had been taken from inside the home, with the owners discovering their car was missing from the driveway when they were awoken by officers.
