Motorbike rider in hospital after Plymouth crash

A motorbike rider has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car in Plymouth, police say.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers said they were called to Crownhill Road, near the Ringmore Way junction, at about 07:20 BST after reports of a collision between a car and a motorbike.
The rider sustained a "potentially serious injury" and was taken to hospital to be checked out, they said.
The road was reopened after being cleared.
The age and gender of the rider have not been disclosed.
