Inverness school campus plans put to councillors

Councillors have been asked to approve a phased redevelopment of Inverness' Charleston Academy and nearby Kinmylies Primary.
Highland Council has proposed building a new nursery and a phased replacement of the 46-year-old secondary school and its community sports provision.
The plans, which will go before next week's south planning applications committee, include eventually relocating Kinmylies Primary to the new campus.
Council officials have sought planning permission in principle to help set out the strategy for the new campus.
Last September, Highland Council made changes to its capital spending plans due to financial challenges.
The amount of money available for improvements to Charleston Academy was reduced from £14.5m to £1.5m.
