The next phase of a new village being built in Leicestershire has been approved.
More than 150 new houses can be built by Cora 91Èȱ¬s at Broadnook garden village, between Birstall and Rothley.
When finished, Broadnook will have more than 2,000 homes, a business area, sports facilities, supermarket, school, retirement village and care home.
A new roundabout off the A6 will also be built to access the new community.
The first 107 houses, being built by Davidson’s 91Èȱ¬s, were given the go-ahead in 2023, says the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
The next 154 homes were approved on Thursday by Charnwood Borough Council’s planning committee.
