Man killed in two-car crash

A man has died in a collision between two cars in Staffordshire.

Emergency crews were sent to Rawnsley Road, in Hednesford, Cannock at about 19:45 BST on Sunday after a Vauxhall Mokka and a black Mercedes AMG C had collided.

Paramedics found the driver of the Vauxhall in a critical condition and despite receiving treatment he was confirmed dead at the scene.

A passenger in the car was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver and passenger in the Mercedes were discharged at the scene.
