A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a knife attack at Haymarket Bus Station in Leicester.
The youth was detained after police said a 17-year-old boy suffered wounds to his arm and leg at 15:30 BST on Monday.
Leicestershire Police said his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, and he has since been discharged from hospital.
The 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in custody.
The force has appealed for anyone with information to come forward, and confirmed inquiries were ongoing.
Det Con Jamie Anderson said: “The incident happened in the city centre in the middle of the afternoon, and we know there were a lot of people in the area.
“We have been carrying out a number of inquiries, including checking CCTV and speaking with a number of witnesses."
