Trial date set for mother on newborn murder charge

A trial date has been set for a woman charged with murder following the death of her newborn baby.
The child, who was thought to be a few days old, was found on 6 March at an address on Raglan Street, Coventry, West Midlands Police have said.
Jia Xin Teo, 21, appeared at Warwick Crown Court on Tuesday and was accompanied by an interpreter as the trial date was fixed for 30 September.
She first appeared on Saturday at Coventry Magistrates' Court.
Further tests to find out the cause of the baby's death were needed after a post-mortem examination proved inconclusive, police have said.
