A man has been arrested after a shotgun was fired at a house in Leeds.
Armed police were called to Elmet Way, off Eastwood Gardens, in Swarcliffe at about 15:25 BST on Sunday to reports of shots being fired.
Nobody was injured in the incident but windows at two properties were damaged.
A forensic examination found the damage was "consistent with a shotgun having been fired", West Yorkshire Police said.
A 34-year-old man was arrested in Little Smeaton near Pontefract on Monday in connection with the shooting. A woman was also arrested at the same address on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Police said a number of addresses in Leeds had been "secured as scenes to undergo searches".
Det Supt Emma Winfield said: 鈥淭he criminal use of firearms is something we will always treat extremely seriously, and we are carrying out extensive inquiries to establish the full circumstances and to trace and arrest those responsible.
