Search for suspect after man seriously injured

Police are searching for a man suspected of assaulting another man with a bladed weapon in Plymouth.
Devon and Cornwall Police were called to the Taunton Avenue area of the city at about 14:30 BST.
A man in his 30s suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Devon and Cornwall Police said enquiries were ongoing to locate the suspect, who is believed to be known to the victim.
Police said two people were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and remain in police custody.
Taunton Avenue was temporarily closed but has now been reopened.
