Man charged over 'slash' attack in city

A suspect has been charged after a man was taken to hospital with slash wounds following an assault in Nottingham.
Police said the 27-year-old was attacked in Devon Street, Sneinton, on Tuesday night.
A 29-year-old man was charged with wounding with intent and possessing a bladed article in public.
A 25-year-old man previously arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent has been released on conditional bail, police said.
The force said inquiries were ongoing.
