Drivers seriously injured in two-car crash
The A170 between Pickering and Thornton-le-Dale was closed for more than 10 hours

Two drivers are in hospital with serious injuries after a crash near Pickering which closed a section of the A170 for more than 10 hours.
A silver VW Passat and a blue VW Up collided at around 07:30 BST on Wednesday, police said.
The crash happened between Thornton Road Industrial Estate in Pickering and Greengate Lane outside Thornton-le-Dale.
The road was closed for investigations before reopening shortly after 17:00 BST.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has dashcam footage is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police.
