A special mass has been held to celebrate a nun's 100th birthday.

With permission from the Dean of Jersey, Sister Marie Louise's centenary was marked at an alumni mass which was held by Canon Dominic Golding in St Mark's Church in St Helier on Friday 4 October.

Sister Marie Louise was headteacher of Beaulieu Convent School for 30 years and staff, pupils, parents and alumni arranged a unique tribute to celebrate her "remarkable leadership and legacy".

The school thanked the team at St Mark's for hosting the event and offering the use of technical facilities which allowed the event to be livestreamed and recorded.
