Spring Covid vaccination clinics open
- Published
Covid clinics offering top-up vaccinations have opened across Dorset.
Over 75s and those older than six months with a weakened immune system are eligible for the free jab.
Appointments can be booked at pharmacies, community hospitals and GP practices, via GPs, on the NHS App or by ringing 119.
NHS Dorset said walk-in clinics were also due to be set up with more than 300,000 appointments available across the county until the end of June.

Martin Sale, lead pharmacist for the vaccination service in Dorset, said: "Your protection from Covid-19 fades over time, even if you have previously been vaccinated, so it's important for anyone aged 75 and over or with a weakened immune system to come forward for a spring vaccine.
"This will top-up your protection and help you avoid serious illness or hospitalisation."
NHS Dorset said if preferred appointments were not available people should keep trying as more would be added to the system each week.
