Road reopens after motorcyclist injured in crash

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash on a major road in Cornwall.
Devon and Cornwall Police said it was called at about 07:34 BST to the eastbound carriageway of the A30 at the Chiverton Cross flyover.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 70s from the Redruth area, sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, the force added.
The A30 eastbound between the A390 at Chiverton Cross and the A39 at Carland Cross was closed but reopened on Sunday afternoon.
