Boy, 13, seriously injured after being hit by car

A 13-year-old boy is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car.
Police were called to the scene of the crash in Brecon Road, Hirwaun, Rhondda Cynon Taf, at about 18:25 GMT on Thursday.
Three men, aged between 18 and 19, have been arrested, South Wales Police said.
Two of the men were arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, while one was arrested on suspicion of failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
The force said an investigation was ongoing and appealed for witnesses to get in touch.
