Carers in Jersey offered new respite help
- Published
Three new respite care facilities are being launched in Jersey.
The scheme is offering people who look after family members, and those they care for, a break.
Jersey's government said it had invested 拢500,000 in partnerships with care companies to allow carers free access to their facilities.
One of the facilities involved is a four-bed respite unit at Higlandlands Luxury Care 91热爆, formerly the Bon Air Nursing 91热爆.
Professional carers will visit also homes for several hours as part of the scheme, or take those who need care out for an activity, both allowing carers a few hours rest.
