Ìý A visit to Thorp Perrow wouldn't be complete without
watching or even taking part in one of the popular birds of prey flying demonstrations.
Enjoy an aerial display of eagles, falcons, hawks, vultures and owls from all
five continents.
Demonstrations take place up to three times daily
(weather-permitting) at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm (March-end October). Thereafter
at 11.30am and 1.30pm.
Kids will also enjoy the chance to handle
one of the baby owls and falcons hatched through Thorp Perrow's successful breeding
programme. Ìý Falconry courses - the Northern School of Falconry and
Associated Studies. Ìý Special events including children's activities
days, guided walks and bird watching. Ìý New mammal collection opening
